Summer Staff is a program for college students who are passionate, hard-working, and servant leaders. Summer Staffers works behind the scenes to help orchestrate the day-to-day logistics of Camp Life, working alongside the Camp Life participants so that they are better able to serve the Zambian children.
Summer Staff gain skills in logistical planning, problem-solving, leadership, responsibility in the workplace, customer service, and organization. Summer Staff also have weekly Bible studies, opportunities for one-on-one discipleship, worship nights, and build life-long community with other Summer Staff. They also have the chance to participate in Camp Life for a week, as well as interact with the children of Zambia week-in and week-out. Applications for 2025 open October 1st.

I grew in my empathy and learned how to tenderly love and care for the orphaned and vulnerable. While serving in a cultural context, very different from America, my eyes were opened, and my perspective changed. One of my greatest takeaways is realizing that Jesus is ALL that we need, and because of Jesus, we can rejoice and be content! MEDICAL INTERNSHIP
Are you someone who desires to work in the medical field or have already received your degree? Then we need you!
Every summer for Camp Life Family Legacy screens between 700 and 1,000 children a week as well as taking care of campers as needed. Our medical field intern will help assist with the screening process while working in a medical clinic in Zambia.

VIDEOGRAPHERS/PHOTOGRAPHERS/WRITERS
Family Legacy’s media internship allows photographers and videographers alike to capture the essence of Camp Life through a lens. To apply to join us in Zambia as a Videographers, Photographer or Writer please use the button above. Participants must be willing to stay for in Zambia for at least 4 weeks.
