Jared Fuson
President and Chief Executive Officer
Jared Fuson serves as President & CEO of Family Legacy, where he leads the ministry’s mission, strategy, and operations. He previously served the organization as Chief Operating Officer for several years, helping shape the organization’s strategic direction and operational growth. Jared is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and Board Certified Coach who has held executive leadership roles in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations.
Jared earned a B.A. in Communications from Texas A&M University and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He and his wife, Jenn, live in East Dallas with their three children and worship at All Saints Anglican Church, where Jared previously served on the Board of Stewards.
David Newman
Chief Relationship Officer
David Newman is the Chief Relationship Officer and is responsible for oversight of the Marketing/Communications and Short Term Missions departments, while also serving as a member of the Development Team. In addition, he assists the CEO as a liaison to the Zambian leadership team.
Prior to joining Family Legacy, he was the President of Newman Graphics, a division of ColorMark Printing located in Carrollton, Texas.
David has his Bachelors's degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
He is an elder at Park Cities Presbyterian Church and serves as Chairman of the Board at For the Nations Refugee Outreach.
Pam Stoker-Galster
Chief Finance Officer
In her role of Chief Finance Officer, Pam Galster oversees all of Family Legacy’s Financial operations and accounting to ensure the growth and development for the entire enterprise. She provides the vision, leadership, and development to her teams in Dallas and Lusaka, Zambia.
Pam received her JD from Loyola Marymount, Los Angeles, California and her accounting degree from Miami, of Ohio University. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas and licensed as an attorney in California. Pam has served in various leadership roles in her career, recently serving as Board Chairperson of Gifts of Hope for Ascension Lutheran Church in Thousand Oaks, California. Pam lives in Dallas with her husband and their two cats Mercy and Grace and attends Messiah Lutheran Church in Plano, Texas.
Brad Guffey
Chief Medical Director
Brad Guffey is Chief Medical Director and is responsible for Family Legacy's health programs.
Prior to joining Family Legacy, he served on faculty at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine.
Brad obtained a B.S. in Molecular Biology from Auburn University and his M.D. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His post-graduate work includes residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics and a combined fellowship in adult and pediatric infectious diseases.
His sending church is Church of the Highlands, and he and his family attend Lusaka Community Church in Zambia.
Amanda Duron
Senior Vice President of Supporter Experience
As SVP of Supporter Experience, Amanda gets to lead the creative team responsible for telling the incredible story of Family Legacy and also leads the Sponsorships, Short-Missions, and Data & IT teams, inviting others into the story.
Prior to her time at Family Legacy, Amanda worked as a Marketing Director for both the government and commercial sectors. She transitioned her career into partner and church engagement for international child development organizations after an opportunity to serve abroad with YWAM. Amanda graduated with a Bachelor's of Integrated Marketing from Abilene Christian University.
When she's not attending a sponsorship service at a partner church or hosting a meal packing event with Family Legacy, you can find her championing her husband's dream of aviation and exploring the world.
Chikondi Phiri
Country Director
Chikondi Phiri is Country Director and provides overall strategic and operational leadership of the ministry in Zambia while ensuring alignment with Family Legacy Vision, Mission, Core Values and strategy.
Prior to joining Family Legacy he served as Interim National Director for World Vision South Africa, Johannesburg.
Chikondi has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree in Leadership Development from Eastern University (PA, USA).
He is a member of Lusaka Baptist Church and Credit Committee Chairperson of VisionFund Zambia Microfinance Board.
Danny Lightner
Advisor for Spiritual Development
Danny Lightner is Advisor for Spiritual Development and is focused on creating spiritual content for use in Zambia and training our staff on the ground in Zambia in discipleship methods and strategies.
Danny is married to Sarah, and the Lord has blessed them with six awesome children! Danny and Sarah graduated from Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster, PA (where they met!), and then Danny graduated with an M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Massachusetts. Danny was a Pastor for college/youth in New Hampshire for 9 years and then served as an Adult Discipleship Pastor in Des Moines, IA for six years.
After 15 years of pastoral ministry, the Lord led the whole Lightner family to serve the vulnerable and orphaned children of Zambia through Family Legacy. While living in Zambia for seven years, Danny served as the Vice President for Spiritual Development for five years, and then as the Programs Director for two years. In his current role, he frequently travels back and forth to Zambia to spiritually invest in the 13,000 vulnerable children in our program and the 850 staff who serve them.
Andy Ivey
Vice President of Development
Andy Ivey is the Vice President of Development and is responsible for leading the Development team, connecting people and their resources to the transformational work of Family Legacy in Zambia.
He has been building Kingdom work in the developing world for over 30 years, with extensive experience in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
Andy graduated from Samford University and lives in Atlanta, Georgia, where he attends Phoenix Community Church and serves on the boards of directors for Family Promise of Gwinnett and the Phoenix Roasters Foundation.
Andrew Knight
Vice President of Technology and Information Systems
Andrew Knight is Vice President Technology, Information Systems and is responsible for data management.
Prior to joining Family Legacy, he served as Director of International Aid at Buckner International. Andrew has a Bachelor’s Degree in Russian Studies from Baylor University and a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University. He is a member of Community Life Church, Sunnyvale, Texas.
Caleigh England
Vice President of Strategy
As VP of Strategy, Caleigh shapes and drives the ministry's strategic direction, financial positioning, and organizational cohesion — all with the intent of maximizing Family Legacy's redemptive impact and sustainability.
Prior to joining Family Legacy, Caleigh spent several years as a consultant with Bain & Company, where she partnered with clients across sectors to define and accelerate strategy, growth, and organizational transformation.
Caleigh earned her BBA in Finance with a minor in Economics through Texas A&M University's Business Honors program. She and her husband, Carson, enjoy life in East Dallas and are members of Watermark Community Church.
Heather Munoz
Vice President of Human Resources
Heather Munoz is the Vice President of Human Resources and leads talent, culture, training, succession planning, and the employee lifecycle. She oversees the Make a Difference committee and instigates fun in the workplace. In addition, she serves as liaison to the Zambian HR team.
Prior to joining Family Legacy, she was the Vice President of Human Resources at a top Texas law firm with 15 locations. Prior to the pandemic, she also held a regional leadership role in Human Resources for Hilton and Marriott hotel properties.
Heather has a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Houston Honors College and an MBA from Baylor University. She also completed a 2-year leadership academy at Compass Christian Church through Dallas Christian College.
Sunday mornings Carlos and Heather serve at Compass Christian Church welcoming guests and helping with baptisms. They have 4 college students and their oldest has finished college.
