Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God is this: to visit the orphans in their distress.
Camp Life is a powerful experience for families and individuals seeking significance, where they join together to share God’s Word and serve orphaned and vulnerable children in Zambia, Africa. It is a week-long camp for the orphaned and vulnerable children of Zambia to hear the word of God and experience life more abundantly!
Camp Life brings together American Volunteers to engage in the call of the Great Commission alongside brothers, sisters, grandparents, moms, and dads, bringing a family to the fatherless. Each American serves as a small group leader to 10 Zambian children with help from two Zambian partners.
While at Camp, these children learn how much God loves them and get to experience that love first-hand through their camp counselors. Through one-on-one time, Americans learn more about each child’s family life and prayer needs. During these special times of blessing, many children find a safe place to open up about the difficult situations they face and find freedom and healing through the love of Jesus Christ.
As the volunteers who join us allow God to use them to impact the children’s lives, they experience God’s love in new and powerful ways! Check out our Camp Life FAQs for answers to any questions you may have of contact our Short Term Missions department at 972-620-2020.
