The Strategic Vision of The Tree of Life Children’s Village is to be a “Haven of Hope and Light”, where comprehensive & significant transformation can take place in the physical, mental, social, and spiritual lives of the Zambian AIDS Orphans and those who care for them.
The Strategic Mission of The Tree of Life Children’s Village is to pro-actively and permanently address the cyclical and multi-faceted problems of depression, poverty, and AIDS that plague the lives of the children of Zambia by strategically focusing on areas such as personal health and nutrition, basic education and skills training, social engagement and enrichment activities, long-term life modeling and parenting environments, micro-economic empowerment programs, and personal and spiritual life development.
This 130 acre piece of prime (42 acres of which is a hilltop plateau) has already been fully bought and paid for with cash donations, and is strategically and centrally located only 15 minutes in either direction from the downtown area of Zambia’s capital city of Lusaka and its International Airport.
The Tree of Life Children’s Village located in Lusaka, Zambia and will compose of:
- 25 Family Life Community Homes for 300 children to live in full-time
- The LifeWay Christian School for 1,000 orphan and vulnerable children to attend school every day
- The River of Life Medical Community Medical Center and Hospital to serve 100 patients per day
- The Legacy Center to serve over 30,000 orphan and vulnerable children each year
- Build Camp LIFE on the Summit
