In the Old Testament, God called Nehemiah to assemble a team from a faraway land to rebuild the broken down walls of Jerusalem. Today, in the impoverished communities of Lusaka, Zambia, there are thousands of children in need of help and support to provide for them what they could never provide for themselves. Many are hungry, abused, uneducated and without hope. Their lives are shattered and broken down.
Everyone Has a Role
At Family Legacy, we have well over 1,000 staff members and a multitude of supporters and community volunteers. All with different gifts, we are uniting together to rebuild the broken lives of Zambia’s vulnerable and orphaned children in helping to provide spiritual, intellectual, physical and emotional healing to a generation of Zambian children. We call it the Nehemiah Partnership.
You Can Make a Difference
The Nehemiah Partnership initiative is seeking 3-5 year pledges and gifts to expand the miracle that is already well underway. Your support will help to build new schools, provide more extensive medical care, hire the finest teachers, fund our brightest and best students to continue their education through college, fund other students in a trades program and hire additional discipleship staff to guide in the spiritual formation of our nearly 15,000 children.
Your support will not only help to stop the cycle of abuse and neglect, but it will also work to set these children and the generations who will follow after them on a new path for their lives.
