Many vulnerable children fight a silent battle on the inside. They face issues in their communities that weigh heavily in their home lives, classrooms, and relationships.
While this may not be easy to see on the surface, it is critical to their development. That’s why our team began implementing proven methods in emotional care. As you’ll hear and read below, our emotional care programs are sparking transformation far and wide.
Why Emotional Care is a Top Priority
When we consider students for enrollment, we look for those who are vulnerable based on their situation and experiences. It is both prudent and loving for us to address how their vulnerability affects them on the inside.
Spiritual, Intellectual, Physical, and Emotional care are not only all essential for students to thrive long-term, but they also depend on each other. Emotionally healthy students are better poised to succeed at school, which includes their ability to learn new things and interact with others. Best of all, we are seeing this take off in ways beyond what we had hoped.

“We cannot give the children what we don't have, so with the SEL trainings that we went through, we are able to handle our own emotions and also be able to impact the learners…We are taking this even to our families."
