This was the theme song for Camp LIFE 2005 when the theme was light. The kids learned what it means to be the light of the world. This was the first year that we gave every kid a new pair of shoes. They used those shoes to go walk throughout the city of Lusaka and share their light. In the beginning of this video, the little girl saying “Let There Be Light” is Norah Mwiinga who moved into the Tree of Life Children’s Village four years later.

Camp LIFE is a intense, week-long discipleship experience for the orphaned and vulnerable children of Zambia. Each summer 400 Americans come and lead camp for over 8000 children in Zambia. Families, singles and college students all come for one or two weeks out of their summer to show love to 10-12 Zambian orphans.
