Goliath LunguThis is Goliath Lungu, the landscaper at the Tree of Life Children’s Village.  Goliath has been working for us for about a year.  A couple of weeks ago I noticed several pretty new flowers had been planted around Lahema’s House (the first house built at the Tree of Life).  When I ask Goliath where they had come from he informed me that he had purchased the plants with his own money.  When I offered to reimburse Goliath he refused, saying in broken English “No Sir, I am a Christian.”  Goliath wanted to personally donate to the construction of the Children’s Village.

Goliath does not make very much money, but his servant heart motivates me to work harder.  I hope this story has been an encouragement to you.
