Preserving Knowledge. Protecting futures.
One of the most effective ways we can impact a Zambian child’s education is to empower and equip their teachers. All of our Zambian teachers have formal training and certification, but they lack exposure to best-practice strategies to implement within their classrooms.
To bridge this gap, we invite American teachers to join our Education staff in Zambia each summer on a two-week mentorship program called Teach ONE. During Teach ONE, the American teacher will observe, co-teach, and mentor a Zambian teacher in a Lifeway Christian Academy classroom filled with orphaned or vulnerable children sponsored through the Father’s Heart.
We encourage educators with 1-2 year’s classroom teaching experience and a desire to help children with diverse learning needs to be a part of Teach ONE. Join us and help invest in developing well-trained teachers who will inspire their students to become Zambia’s future leaders
Teach ONE Zambia 2013 is now full!!
Stay tuned for details for our Teach ONE Zambia 2014. Sign-ups will begin on October 1, 2013.
