One of the benefits that a sponsored child receives is the opportunity for their caretakers to receive a micro-loan which can help them start a business of their own to begin providing for the family. Caretakers from Lusaka celebrated and gave thanks to the Lord this past week as 17 different individual loans were given after they each passed a small-business training course held by our Economic Department Head Coordinator, Geoffrey Fredman.
The course was held at Kamanga Community School, and the participants were all caretakers of sponsored children in our Father’s Heart Program from Kamanga. After going through the course, the caretakers were individually responsible for writing their own business plans. Geoffrey and Martin B.K. Daniels (our Economic Zone Leader for the Kamanga area) counseled each caretaker and worked with them on their plan. The caretakers were all very thankful to be receiving these loans! The entire group is responsible for repaying their loans, so they are all motivated to do well in their businesses.
Watch the video below to see the process of this program that has been happening all throughout Lusaka for the caretakers of the sponsored children in our Father’s Heart Program.

We thank God for all he is doing in the lives of the People of Zambia through Family Legacy.
we are surely reaching out in all holistic way
