Community Resource Centers (CRCs) are youth centers designed to be a hub for our ministry in each community we work in. We have 18 CRCs working to serve as a light in the darkness of the slums of Lusaka, Zambia.

| Since school only lasts usually two hours a day, these kids have no place to go for the majority of each day. The CRCs offer the children a place where they can come study, read and learn. They are also a place for fun and play which is not something the orphans of Zambia experience often. | Since the CRCs are located in the areas where the children live and staffed 24 hours a day, it is open to them in the middle of the night when they are faced with abuse or forced to sleep outside. Nighttime is a very scary time in these communities and the CRCs offer them a safe place to go when they face trouble. | The CRCs are staffed with our discipleship leaders, many of whom actually live there. This allows them to be always nearby and known in the community. This has made a huge impact because they know what is going on around the community and are well-respected by the caretakers and other leaders in the area. |
