Camp Life Group ShotCamp LIFE 2010 is filling up fast and furious !!  We already have almost 150 people signed up for next year and we are only in early November.  In fact, we had 41 people sign up just in the last seven days.

We do have limits on our capacity based on housing and airlines, so I am VERY sure that some weeks of Camp will reach their limit before January 1st.  Whatever you do…DON’T wait to sign up or the week you are wanting may already be filled. Also, remember that the World Cup is in South Africa next June and so a lot of the possible airline seats may get snatched up for that.  So waiting until the springtime to sign up may mean that there are NO SEATS available on the planes.

Boy raising handsSo here’s the deal…the next “price jump” for attending Camp LIFE will happen November 16thThe cost will go from $3,700 for one week to $4,000. Remember, you don’t have to have all your money in by then, but you do have to sign up by November 15th to lock in the lower rate.

The first financial deadline is January 15th when you need to have a minimum of $1,000 raised to keep your spot secured, the rest of the money is not then due until April 2, 2010.

So, what do you need to do ?!?!?!

  1. If you have not signed up yet, DO IT TODAY so that you get your preferred week.  Remember we can have as many as 40-50 people “all of a sudden” sign up and take away all the spots…so don’t get left out by procrastinating.
  2. Once you have signed up, then hurry up and get your support letters out NOW so that you can be sure to get your first $1,000 in before the middle of January.  Also, people are a LOT more inclined to give you support towards the end of the year because of tax-deductions than around April next year when they are trying to pay their taxes.  It also makes for an easy “Christmas gift” for people to give to you.

So that’s it !!  Camp LIFE 2010 — “The Joy of the Lord is My Strength” — is going to be the best yet !!!  Sign up NOW or else we might not get to see you until 2011 !Campl Life Group

Praying over the new officeOur staff in Zambia has been growing each year as we add more ways to reach the children of Zambia. With over 265 staff members in Zambia, we had more than outgrown our current office building. This week we expanded into a new office in Chilenje, which is an area not far from the center of Lusaka. The new office will house our education team, social services and many of our support services staff. The staff gathered this past Friday to officially open the building and pray over the work that will be done there.

Anyone who has spent anytime in Zambia would agree that our staff is incredible. They are truly devoted to improving the lives of the orphaned and vulnerable children in Zambia. We ask that you pray for them everyday as they go about the work of the Lord in Zambia.
