Beauty

Beauty is one of our sponsored kids in the Father’s Heart Program. We recently moved her into our Lifeway Homes so we need to increase her sponsorship. Beauty will move into the Tree of Life soon.

Heather and RandyYesterday May 20th was Heather Ransom’s 30th Birthday!  In honor of the fruit she has been bearing here since September as Father’s Heart Coordinator in Zambia, her wonderful husband Randy dedicated a piece of land at the Tree of Life Children’s Village to a beautiful fruit orchard with 100 trees!  Bananas, oranges, mangos, avocados, lemons, guavas, and nectarines will be providing nourishment for children for years and years to come…what a wonderful legacy to leave sealing their commitment to the full restoration of the lives of the Zambian orphans.  Years down the road, we will all see the fruit of their labor as these precious children who have only known the worst pain are living in beautiful & safe homes with new families and receiving solid sustenance from “Heather’s Orchard”!   Randy knew that the best present to give Heather was one that would keep on giving and also one that would benefit the children she loves so much.  He was definitely right!

Gifts at the Christmas PartyWe all had a really great day celebrating with Heather and she actually probably received at least 30 different birthday cards altogether from all her Zambian friends and even our sweet LifeWay girls!  Walking around with her yesterday made it obvious of the incredible impact she has had on the Zambians, as person after person came up and told her how much she has meant to them.

Below is a video of a few of our LifeWay girls singing for Heather!
